Impetus–The Private Equity Foundation (Impetus-PEF) has chosen Amazon to help launch a new report exposing a shocking qualification crisis among 16-19 year olds.
Impetus-PEF transforms the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they get the support they need to succeed in education, in work, in life.
While it’s universally acknowledged that numeracy and literacy skills are vital for young people to succeed in life, too many are leaving school without good GCSEs in English and maths. This puts these young people at a significant disadvantage, but little attention or resources are currently focused on crucial post-16 catch-up.
We will be helping Impetus-PEF raise awareness of this underreported area of education and showcasing their solutions to try and improve the outcomes for young people.
Impetus-PEF’s Head of Communications Lizzie Pring says:
‘Amazon’s professional approach mixed with passion and understanding of the issues we’re working to highlight showed us they were the right team for us. We’ve hugely valued their advice, support and focus already and are excited to see the results.’
