We’re delighted to be working with Beanstalk, the fantastic national charity that provides one-to-one literacy support to children who struggle with their reading.
In the last school year the charity helped approximately 10,000 children across England, in almost 1,400 schools, with the help of over 2,900 reading helpers, ensuring children have the skills and confidence to reach their true potential.
We’re devising and delivering a media relations campaign to support recruitment of Beanstalk volunteer reading helpers across the charity’s eight regions.
Beanstalk’s director of marketing and comms, Steve Hawe, says:
The start of the autumn school term is a key moment for highlighting the need for improved literacy and for reaching out to potential volunteers. We’re very much looking forward to working with Amazon to encourage more people to come forward for this highly rewarding volunteering opportunity that changes children’s lives.”
