The Nationwide Foundation, a charitable funder which aims to increase the availability of decent, affordable homes for people in housing need, has appointed us to provide media relations and public affairs support for the launch of a landmark review of the private rented sector by leading academics from the University of York.
The review will be published in September 2018 and will provide a comprehensive picture of the current state of the private rented sector, an assessment of the policy interventions currently impacting it, and a set of policy recommendations.
The Nationwide Foundation was established by Nationwide in 1997 as a fully independent corporate foundation. As an independent charity, the Nationwide Foundation influences changes to improve circumstances for those people in the UK who most need help.
Natalie Tate, Communications, Policy and Public Affairs Manager at Nationwide Foundation, said:
“The Nationwide Foundation aims to increase the availability of decent affordable homes for people in housing need in the UK and this review of the private rented sector is an important part of that work. We’re looking forward to working with Amazon to make sure the review has maximum impact on government and housing stakeholders, and that its recommendations are taken forward so that effective changes are made to transform the private rented sector.”
